Fusible link fuses of the SF/R and SMB series switch off an AC or DC load circuit permanently when the fixed response temperatures are reached. A reset is not possible, so the fuse must be completely replaced after it has been triggered. A back contact is possible if the melting temperatures of the metals act on the fuse due to the subsequent heat effect.
